Volunteerism is contagious. We know because in the past decade we’ve organised some of the biggest ever volunteer building trips to South Africa. From a small group who went to help build houses in 2002, to over 2,000 joining us for a township building blitz in 2008.
Our goal for 2016 is to get 500 volunteers to be part of the second ever schools building blitz from the UK. These 500 ambassadors, of which you could be one, will be the catalyst to inspire us to mobilise 2,500 volunteers in 2017.
If we reach our 2017 target it will be the UK's largest ever one week trip of volunteers. Just think of the lasting impact we can make to the children of Africa if we work together to help achieve this.
It’s a story you will want to tell your own children.
This won't happen without you. Just one week of your life can change hundreds of others.

Getting involved couldn’t be simpler. Our goal for 2016 is to raise over £5m from individual and business donations and to inspire 500 volunteers to join us from the UK on our unique ‘Building Blitz’ week in November 2016.
By helping us plant bricks you can transform the lives of these African children, giving them the gift of education and providing a legacy for future generations.
You will also profoundly change your own view of the world and make some great new friends along the way.
